Community Cafe
This iteration of the Community Café is an evening centered on developing a vision for what it means to celebrate culture at Sherman.
Our 4th grade Café Leadership Team has been working incredibly hard to prepare for this event. They have thoughtfully developed discussion questions, designed flyers, and have created a PowerPoint presentation that will guide our conversations. The students’ leadership, creativity, and collaboration are truly impressive. We are excited to gather together as a community to share, listen, and create a collective vision.
Dinner is provided and the event is free! We just ask that folks RSVP here so we have enough to eat.
Roles & Shifts
This event will be very interesting and fun for kids who like to sit still and have conversations in mixed age groups. Since pretty much no child under the age of five fits into that category, we'll have some activities set up for them to do separate from the main group. We need a few folks on hand to keep things tidy and help the kiddos out when they disagree over who gets the red crayon next.
